Not content with his accomplishments in TV and film, Harith is also active in the Malaysian English theatre scene and played the lead in two Actors’ Studio productions; Philadelphia Here I Come and Zoo Story. In March 2001, he shared the stage at Actors’ Studio Bangsar with some of Malaysia’s renowned comedians for a showcase aptly entitled Malaysian Comedy Fest.  After three consecutive successful years with MCF, Harith staged his first solo act at the Actors’ Studio in 2004, bidding his adoring and loyal fans to Let’s Get Personal for five sold-out nights.

2005 saw Harith as an actor on the big screen once again in films such as Afdlin Shauki’s Baik Punya Cilok and award-winning director Yasmin Ahmad’s Sepet, which earned him the Best Supporting Actor nomination in the 18th Malaysian Film Festival.  In October of the same year Harith took on a lead role in Pygmalion as Prof. “Harun” Higgins, his first musical attempt staged at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre. Then in 2007, he directed and acted in another hit musical staged at The Actors’ Studio Bangsar called Frogway, about a singing frog. As Smiley The Snake he had audiences in stitches as he convincingly portrayed a sly and devious talent agent.
